College and University Immunization Data

Colorado Board of Health rule 6 CCR 1009-2 requires that all students attending an institute of higher learning provide proof of immunity to measles, mumps and rubella diseases. New students living in campus housing submit to the institute either a vaccine record verifying the administration of a Meningococal ACWY vaccine within the last 5 years or a signed "Meningococcal Disease Information and Vaccine Waiver."
We have compiled these data into a series of interactive dashboards to increase awareness of immunization coverage for reporting colleges and universities in Colorado.

Colleges/Universities report the total number of students who:
  • Received 2 valid doses of MMR vaccine
  • Provided proof of immunity to MMR disease with positive lab titers
  • Claimed a medical or non-medical exemption to MMR vaccine
  • Are in the process of getting MMR vaccination within 30 days of notification
  • Presumed immunity (born before 1957)
  • Received meningococcal ACWY vaccine within the last 5 years
  • Submited a signed “Meningococcal Disease Information and Vaccine Waiver”
  • Unknown status

More information about required vaccines is available here. All data are self-reported by each facility, and not validated by CDPHE.
