School and Child Care Immunization Data 2018-2019 Information for Partners

Colorado Board of Health rule 6 CCR 1009-2 requires public, private and parochial schools that enroll students in K-12th grade, as well as preschools, child care centers and Head Starts licensed for 10 or more children, to report immunization and exemption data to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).

We have compiled these data into a series of interactive dashboards to increase awareness of immunization coverage in Colorado.
We also provide an extract of the data to allow for research and further study.

Schools and child cares report the total numbers of students who:
  • are up-to-date on individual vaccines (fully immunized),
  • claim an exemption,
  • are in process of getting immunized,
  • have a non-compliant immunization record, or
  • do not have an immunization record on file.
Students are considered compliant with state immunization rules if they:

  • are up-to-date on required vaccines,
  • have a valid exemption on file, or
  • have a plan in place to become up to date.

More information about required vaccines is available here. All data are self-reported by each facility, and not validated by CDPHE.

Note: St. Vrain Valley School District discovered an error in the data they reported for the 2018-2019 school year. The 2018-2019 data will be corrected on this website when it is updated with current school year data in early summer of 2020.
